When a child’s toys are Tente (Spanish Lego), Meccano, Scalextric or Ibertren, it’s easy to foresee where his professional career will end up.
Diego de Miguel is that child.
He studied as a Mechanical Engineer at La Almunia de Doña Godina (University of Zaragoza), and, as a good engineer, has developed his career from every different angle: Management, Sales (domestic and export), purchases, R+D, production, quality, logistics, customer service and training.
Creating new things and sell them, that might be a good description for our captain’s career.
He has worked in companies such as COMAQ (Comercial de Maquinaria), BTV, CENTYBEL or Tecnalia, as a consultant or as a freelance. In every job, technology, innovation and marketing has been a constant.
Now is the time to contribute to the development of technologies that make navigation safer, more comfortable and sustainable through the project Sailing Living Lab, easing the transfer of those technologies to other sectors, and to real life. That is the professional goal of this engineer.
