MaxSea and Sailing Living Lab recently decided to collaborate together. It was an easy decision for MaxSea to make, the concept of setting up a laboratory at sea to take scientific laboratories into a new realm immediately made sense, being a company that was founded through pioneering navigation software.
TIMEZERO
The objective by providing TIMEZERO software in TZ Navigator to Sailing Living Lab, is that they will be able to spend more time working on their innovative scientific experiments and less time worrying about the endless hazards that the open sea presents.
TZ Navigator is the entry level product for TIMEZERO by MaxSea, packed with cutting edge features that are all intuitive to use so that anyone can get up and going straight away. This software fits with the projects needs since safety and efficiency are their main navigation stakes.
Amongst the features, our software will be able to aid to the Sailing Living Lab’s boat, the Acrobat, with the Weather Routing module. It is a great feature for sailboats such as the Acrobat in that it provides an optimized route in getting from point A to point B according to the boat characteristics and its environment in every moment.
Being economical in crossing long stretches of ocean is also a vital condition optimized with TIMEZERO. Just as important is maintaining the laboratory’s state to keep it full working order.
This module will help to ensure one’s safety thanks to a feature that allows you to cap the wind speed and wave height. This way you can find a route that will get you to your destination quickly but most importantly, that will ensure there are no nasty surprises along the way. Other key features are the Safety Route Planning and the Security Cone which act to prevent your boat from crashing.
