The first to arrive would be paid with gold, but the latter may not even could pay the salaries of the sailors.<\/p>\n<p>Thirteen vessels were presented to the challenge. The first to arrive was the \u00abMaltese Falcon\u00bb, a schooner from Baltimore 32 m. lenght and skippered by Andreas Potrus, followed by jabeque \u00abJerba\u00bb and \u00abArrogante\u00bb Brig.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/sailinglivinglab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Ruta-III.jpg\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-909\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-909 size-full\" src=\"http:\/\/sailinglivinglab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Ruta-III.jpg\" alt=\"Ruta III\" width=\"440\" height=\"146\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sailinglivinglab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Ruta-III.jpg 440w, https:\/\/sailinglivinglab.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Ruta-III-300x100.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 440px) 100vw, 440px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Since 30 years ago, The Mediterranean Sailors Association (<a href=\"http:\/\/sailinglivinglab.com\/en\/anam-2\/\" target=\"_blank\">ANAM<\/a>, Asociaci\u00f3n de Navegantes de Altura del Mediterr\u00e1neo) organizes the prestigious regatta <a href=\"http:\/\/www.larutadelasal.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">\u00abLa Ruta de la Sal\u00bb &#8211; Trofeo Pepe Ferres<\/a>, emulating that historical fact.<\/p>\n<p>The Sailing Living Lab will collaborate with ANAM during this regatta, together with other ships with which she will be coordinated.
